    Trade-In Module

    The Trade-In module is used if a customer wants to sell their own jewelry or watch in exchange for an item from the store.

    • To trade-in an item, click on the Trade-In module.

    • Then, click the lookup icon next to Customer to search for and select the customer wants to trade in an item.

    • Click on the Buy button.

    • Select the item category, write in the description, and the amount of the item that the customer brought in. Then press OK.

    • Then, the item will appear on the screen with a negative quantity.

    • Either scan the barcode of the item that the store will be trading, or manually enter it in by clicking the lookup icons next to Style/SKU # and Serial #.

    • Then the item will appear on the screen with a positive quantity and the difference between the items being traded will appear on the bottom right corner of the screen.

    • Take payment as needed and Save.
